Generally speaking, whether we have a bullpen full of great pitchers or a stable full of guys who can hit the ball out of the park, the one thing that's inexcusable is a rash of fielding or running errors. If our guys aren't demonstrating "smart play" on the field, there is only one area to place the blame: the coaches. No matter how explosive we are as a team, or the team we're playing, we absolutely must play smart at all times. Other than a really odd bounce, there is no reason for any fielding errors at this level of play. None! Zero!

If this coach can't produce the minimum standard, he needs to find another job.
